Since the beginning of this century, the impacts of animal diseases on human health, social development, and environmental safety have become increasingly prominent. Nearly all major public health events in recent decades have been related to animal diseases. The "One Health" concept of harmonious coexistence among "humans, animals, and the environment" is gaining more attention, and strengthening research and control of animal diseases is crucial. The 2nd International Symposium on Animal Disease and Health, which was jointly organized by the editorial office of Animal Diseases and Huazhong Agricultural University, will be held from November 15 to 17 in Nanjing, China.

Following the "One Health" concept, the forum focuses on animal diseases and interdisciplinary fields related to animal diseases and provides a unique platform for sharing and highlighting the latest research, technological progress and ideas that will significantly contribute to animal welfare and human health. The meeting will involve multiple sessions, including keynote presentations, plenary lectures, and poster presentations.

This meeting also launch the “RENOFARM Innovation Workshop Poster Competition” with the FAO. This competition is open to students across the globe.

We sincerely invite you to participate in the symposium and look forward to sharing the latest research results and practical experiences in the fields of animal disease and health.
